It's been a perfect birthday so far, and we still have hours to go! BTW - if anyone wants to know I'm 5 years old today :)
The day started with some nice duck necks included with my kibble, nummo!

Mum worked a little, and then we went for a nice walk before it got super hot (it's 93 degrees now, yikes!).

After we got back, Mum worked some more, and then before dinner, she gave me a few goodies! I got some Honest Kitchen Nuzzles, a stuffed dinosaur, and a Bobo! Won't be long till that BoBo is destuffed, fur sure!

The best part is that Mum says my big present isn't coming for a few days, but she told me what it is! I've been wanting one of these for a couple of years, since the time we saw some of our buds in Europe had one.
It's a Nina Ottosson dog toy!!! OMD!!! Mum says she ordered me the Dog Turbo. Mum picked the Turbo because she thought it fit most with my personality.
I can't wait till it gets here! Pretty soon I'll be ready for a playstation 3, BOL!!!
Near dark, after it cools off, Mum says we're gonna go work on my dogwalk again, I love that!!! And she's got a new set up. She tore up part of the the patio she built before I was born, and is using the bricks to prop up a level board for me before the end board (which is our teeter board). Can't wait to test it out!
Gotta go, Mum's getting out the Homemade Frosty Paws now! Can the day get any better?

I was over at Karen Pryor's site the other day, and got so excited when I discovered she is selling some of the popular and amazing Nina Ottosson Intelligent dog toys, different than the ones I talked about just before the Holidays that Clean Run has available. You can see them all on her site here, then click on the Puzzles Toys & Boredom Busters on the right navigation bar!
Here they are:
Dog Box - The Dog Box is an amusing game for you to enjoy with your dog. This game develops your dog’s intelligence and puzzle-solving skills by teaching him to put toy blocks into a box with holes on top. The game has three degrees of difficulty. When your dog succeeds in getting the block into the hole, treats fall out. Once your dog understands how the Dog Box works, the upper board can be replaced with one of the other two boards.
Dog Puzzler - The DogPuzzler is an exciting hide-and-seek style game for your dog. The dog hunts for snacks by moving blocks in four different directions. Underneath each block is a hollow for hiding snacks. The blocks can only be lifted up (and checked for snacks!) at the end of each track. Vary the game by using more than one block in the same track. To make the game harder, use big Dog Smart blocks or a rolled-up piece of cloth or paper to lock the rounded part of the track. Your dog will have to remove this lock in order to get to the DogPuzzler block.
Dog Twister - Dog Twister is a challenging, fun game for you and your dog. Hide dog snacks underneath the various discs. Your dog learns to look for dog snacks by moving one disc after the other in different directions. You can make the game more difficult by locking the discs in position with wooden pegs. Your dog will learn to loosen the discs by lifting the pegs one by one. Start by locking a few of the discs in position. When your dog has learned what to do, you can lock all the discs in position.
Dog Turbo - Put small dog snacks or dry food in the passages. Let the dog move the blocks with its paw or nose against the side, thereby moving the snacks so that the snacks can fall out through different holes. The blocks cannot be lifted. Ingenious, tricky and fun.
Dog Casino - To play, the dog looks for treats by pulling out flaps in different directions. In each flap there is a depression where a treat can be hidden. You can increase the degree of difficulty by locking the flaps using the plugs on the top.

What's new Clean Run just got in a new Nina Ottosson interactive dog toy. And you know how much I love those Ottosson toys! The Dog Pyramid, one of Nina Ottosson's collection of interactive dog toys, is perfect for occupying and stimulating dogs. Simply place treats or kibble in the hole near the top of the toy and then watch as the dog enjoys the challenge of getting the treats out by moving and knocking the toy around.
So how is the Dog Pyramid different from the myriad of other food-dispensing toys available today? Made of durable non-toxic plastic, the Dog Pyramid is shaped like a beehive and has a weighted bottom. And it's the weighted bottom that makes this toy unique. No matter how enthusiastic the game, every time the dog pushes the Pyramid over, it rights itself again. Dishwasher safe, top rack.
Here you can see it in action!
We've had our eye on these really cool interactive and intelligent dog toys from Nina Ottosson for a while now. So we were super excited when we found that they are now offering them through Clean Run!

These toys would make a perfect holiday gift for your pup. They are fun, entertaining, provide wonderful interaction and play time with your dog. Once your dog gets their bearings, there is no telling how much they can learn.
I know that my sis, Gracie, after coming to live with us after being taken from the hoarder, had a hard time with intelligent games. But Mum worked with her and before long, she was using her noggin, thinking for herself and have a great time!
And everyone knows, right, that using their brain tires out a dog just as much as a long, long walk. And with winter being her in the US, this would be a great indoor game for your and your dog to keep entertained, active, and learning!
"Nina Ottosson's range of durable interactive games have been designed to stimulate a dog's brain while reinforcing his relationship with people. Each design has a unique mechanism that requires mental as well as physical dexterity to work through the challenges and reveal hidden food rewards.
The games can be set to different levels of complexity to satisfy all ages and types of dog. So whether you have a Forrest Gump or an Albert Einstein, there is a Nina Ottosson game to suit him!"
