The ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) continues its national No Pet Store Puppies campaign to raise awareness about puppy mill cruelty and the link between pet store puppies and puppy mills.

Over the last year, Wayside Waifs animal shelter in Kansas City, Missouri, has partnered with over 30 other animal shelters and animal welfare agencies to rescue thousands of animals. Sometimes, I really cant help but wonder how cruel to animals other people can be.
Recently, two Philippine animal welfare groups, Island Rescue Organizations (IRO) and CARA Welfare Philippines (Compassion And Responsibility for Animals), were able to rescue around 222 dogs from a Korean dog-fighting syndicate in San Pablo, Laguna.
