Getting The Best Dog Breed For Children? Make Your Kids Safe For Dogs First.

This post about getting the best dog breed for children was inspired by a greyhound I met yesterday at the rescue centre. I was dropping off some old unwanted coats, leads, collars and bedding.
There are lots of pure breeds of dog really suitable for children. Here are some of my top picks:

Jeffie is an excellent role model for Rudy and Rudy's caught on to many of Jeffie's dog treat begging techniques. However, as you can see from the photo above, Rudy still lacks Jeffie's consistent, intent focus. Look at that face. Is there any doubt in your mind that Jeffie is willing the person to award a treat or two?
