on Monday May 21st, 2012 at 07:00 PM
Penny has always waited for a release command before starting her food, and she will also allow us to take the bowl away during her meal - probably because that only happens when we are adding to her meal, because we've forgotten something that was supposed to be in the bowl. But she sure gives us those 'puppy eyes' to tell us to get on with the job if we make her wait too long. I can't usually get such candid shots of her, because she doesn't like the big 'eye' of the camera pointing at her,...Easy Like Sunday..."Living With Your Pet Tips": Why You Should Microchip Your Pet
from Bocci's Beefs

Ask Alecia: My Doxie Bit My Husband!
on Friday May 18th, 2012 at 08:22 PM
Dear Alecia,
I was standing near a pantry door and my husband entered the area. For no reason, Lucky bit my husbands foot. It was a good thing my husband had sneakers on.
My dog has attacked my husband on other occasions, and its usually at night. I have to go to bed before my husband as Lucky wont attack him then. Lucky usually gives a warning growl.
I admit I have spoiled him and he looks to me for everything. What should we do when Lucky tries to bite my husband?
Ive told my husband to say...

Though it can be easy to generalize a dog's play style by breed, what is mostimportant is the dog's ability toadjust their play style to meet the needs of another dog. This canbekey in...
